The Canadian International AutoShow (CIAS) is Canada’s largest consumer show, attracting 300,000 attendees and covering over 500,000 square feet of convention space.

Just two days into the 2015 Canadian International AutoShow (CIAS), the event saw the largest media and public attendance seen for opening days in years with over 18,000 people descending upon the Metro Toronto Convention Centre on Friday alone.

Vehicle Premiers

45 vehicles made their Canadian premiere at the 2015 CIAS, including ten concept vehicles being shown in Canada for the first time. More than 1,000 cars, trucks and SUVs were on display.

2016 Audi TT Roadster

The compact two-seater sets new standards in design, drive, and suspension. A particular highlight in the third TT generation is the Audi virtual cockpit. For the first time, the digital instrument cluster provides all information within the driver’s field of vision – a concept that is causing a sensation. This has already led to the Audi TT’s new display and control system receiving the Car Connectivity Award and the honor of Interior Innovation of the Year at the Automotive Interiors Expo Awards.

2016 Audi Q7

MINI Superleggera Vision

A collaborative venture between MINI and the Italian design and body manufacturing specialist Touring Superleggera has produced the study of a compact roadster whose design and concept focuses entirely on the essentials: driving fun and aesthetic appeal. Elaborately crafted by hand, this concept presents a modern interpretation of a classic open-top two-seater.


CIAS also hosted the Prostate Cancer Canada’s Rock The Road Raffle. This year’s raffle was nothing short of extra-special, with a one-of-a-kind 50th-anniversary, sixth-generation edition 2015 Mustang GT Coupe valued at $87,487 be won. The lucky winner was Farook Mansoor from Scarborough, Ontario.
