2017 Porsche 718 Boxster Review
What attributes do you value most in a modern sports car? Taunt, agile handling? Quick, straight line acceleration? Head turning style? A prestigious brand with a rich motor sports history ?
The 2017 Porsche 718 Boxster ticks all the above boxes, plus a few more. Most 2-seaters have limited cargo capacity, but with 2 trunks totalling 175 litres the Boxster is surprisingly practical.
And according to J.D. Power and Canadian Black Book, the Boxster offers outstanding build quality and resale value. Fuel economy isn’t top of mind for most sports car enthusiasts, but the Boxster scores high on that point too with a combined highway / city rating of 9.8L per 100 km (9.4 if you upgrade to the the PDK transmission).
If all this sounds too good to be true, stop by the Canadian International Auto show this week. There’s a striking orange model on display that just might be for you!
